Dear Artistic Friends,
Art Soup is offering you an opportunity to display and sell your work for a meaningful cause. Beginning September 20th, we will host a month-long art show in the South Gallery of the International Museum of Art. This is a curated show, called “Wishes on Walls” with dedicated wall space for collaborative paintings made by Make-A-Wish kids, families, friends and 5 local artists. The remainder of the gallery will be for display and sales of your art work. We’ll be hosting a grand opening, September 20th 1-4pm with Hors D’oeuvres and live music. During this event, Wish families will speak about the impact Make-A-Wish has had on their lives. There will be a limited silent auction and raffle with select items during the opening and throughout the month.
Additionally, the Art Soup Collective Gallery would like to invite you to participate in our 2nd annual Fall Marketing the North Gallery, October 11th 12-4 and 12th 12-3.
That gives you two options to participate:
(1) Wishes on Walls:
South gallery for the full month, including market weekend: $100. Estimated wall space per artist will be 6ft. We ask that you contribute 20% of opening day sales to Make-A-Wish or should you choose, you can donate a piece to benefit Make-A-Wish as an 85% donation.
15% of sales will be collected by Art Soup on all other days, except if you are present when sale is made, in which case you keep all proceeds. Sales made during regular museum hours will be made through a QR code, and run through Art Soup.
If you are interested in the South Gallery, month-long option, and if you are unknown to Art Soup, please submit 3-5 pictures of your work to artsoup915@gmail.com.
